This is a page where I try to chronicle my travels through Middle Earth, in the online game Lord of the Rings Online. I have always loved Tolkiens worldbuilding, and adore the idea of exploring the world together with other people in a game such as this.

I will try to keep my blog updated with the characters exploits, which will mostly be written from their point of view – or if my own, it will be clearly indicated. Most of the characters are new, but this is not my first try to go into this game – so some will start a little bit advanced (though not much – currently the level cap is 140, and my highest character is 15), so some introductions might be missing or start in medias res.

Privately, I am a father of three, husband to one, and live in the oldest house in my immediate area. These things does not add up to a ton of free time, so I will not expect to update this often, or in very large leaps. I hope to stick to it though.

I am starting out with the VIP package – with limited game time, I do not intend to waste my precious time on tedium when I can boost myself a little bit by getting extra goodies from the store, but I do not know if this will continue.

The goal, for now at least, is to take everything chronologically. I will try to explore as much as I can, but will probably not stick around for grinds, unless they are closed to being finished with the storylines.

I play on the Evernight server, since I am from the EU.
